Municipal Animal Control Officer (MACO)

The Municipal Animal Control Officers' mission is to provide health, safety and welfare to animals and pets for the residents of Clinton.

All dogs, six months or older, should be licensed with the town.  This should be done at the Town Clerk's Office, 54 East Main Street, Clinton, CT.

All dogs and cats should be vaccinated for the rabies virus.  This is mandatory prior to obtaining their license.

The Dog Pound is located at 117 Nod Road, Clinton, CT.
