Town of Clinton Commercial Clean Energy Agreement: How to Get Started

In 2013, the town of Clinton agreed to partner with Connecticut Green Bank’s Commercial
Property Assessed Clean Energy Program (C-PACE). The program aids in financing green
energy upgrades to all types of commercial properties; including, industrial, office, retail,
and any other non-residential building. Financing is paid through your tax bill and the cost of
the improvements is transferred with property ownership.

Let’s work together as a town to lower energy costs, increase your bottom line, and improve
 Clinton’s sustainable future.

The Town Manager’s Office and the Clinton Economic Development Commission (EDC) is a great place to get connected with the right organizations and to find out how to get support and direction from the town. The Economic Development Commission has  published  a Town of Clinton Business Resource Guide  which includes a list of organizations that are knowledgeable about business resources locally and at the State level.
