FAQs
- What can I bring? Generally, you can bring clothing, accessories, footwear, and linens. Click Here for a full list of accepted materials: What We Do & Don’t Accept - Buy Linens - Bay State Textiles
- What is NOT allowed? Mattresses, mattress pads, foam products, couch cushions, lawn furniture, cushions, carpet remnants, rugs that are larger than 2ftx4ft.
- Where do the textiles go after I drop them off? Almost 100% of materials are recycled. Textiles are collected from bins, baled, and sent to graders to be sorted into one of three categories: reusable clothing wiping rags, and fiber conversion. Approximately 5% of textiles are not recycled because they have been contaminated or are moldy and cannot be repurposed. Learn More here: (link to attached PDF
