[ARCHIVED] Press Release from Clinton Town Council

Town Manager Search

The Town Council hired Randi Frank Consulting LLC to assist with the Town’s national search for a new Town Manager.  The consultants carefully reviewed the resumes received based on the profile of the position, which was advertised nationally. There was a total of 22 resumes received.  Ten applicants were asked to complete a questionnaire related to management philosophy as well as Clinton specific questions.  Six candidates were selected to move on to a zoom-recorded screening interview.

The Council met in Executive Session on April 17, 2024, to discuss the screening interviews and to decide which candidates will be invited for an in-person interview at Town Hall. Meanwhile, the Consultant has completed background checks and is working on reference checks for the candidates. The Candidates will come to Town Hall and meet with Department Heads and have individual interviews with the full Town Council.  Council Chair Carrie Allen said that she and the council “are looking forward to meeting the finalists and determining who will be Clinton’s next Town Manager.”
