After living here in Clinton for just over a year I've noticed or should I say haven't seen any town maintenance personnel. The road I live on surely has its boarders owned by the town yet they're left in disarray with branches and leaves littering the road making it hazardous. The road at the top of a hill is actually caving in from water erosion, asked a neighbor and they laughed, apparently it's been going on for some time. Today although the plow made a swipe of the road it wasn't treated and turned to ice, my wife slid down the hill and landed in the neighbors yard.
This disregard for public safety and outright inability to maintain the public roads in all seasons makes me wonder where those tax dollars are going..We both came from areas that were properly maintained and oddly enough had more services and things were properly maintained.
